At Shanghai PuDong airport and china really doesn’t want me on Facebook/twitter/anything! Tumblr is just fine though :). So this airport experience is already riddled with inefficiency. For connection flights…. Wait, no. All connections are treated as transfers here so you have to go out of immigration, collect your luggage I’d you have any, check it in again, and pass back through immigration. I have no checked luggage so it’s just been a silly jaunt from one immigration control station to another with a stop at the weirdest security point ever.
The best part of this… As I’m not going to china I have no Chinese money but I’m here for 6+ more hours. The currency exchange won’t take my Korean won (WHAT?!?!?!) and there isn’t an ATM in sight. I rejected the soggy looking lunch because I really just wanted to sleep… Am I going to starve at PuDong airport???
